Actually using the tools you support is a real asset as a learning technologist.
I have been lucky to teach a few graduate courses for the UW – all asynchronous and online. The first two were done in Moodle (which is no longer in operation at UW, so I have no screen caps). These were for the Clinical Informatics program jointly offered by the School of Medicine and Nursing. One was a technology introduction, the other an introduction to databases.
Currently I co-teach Information Management and Technology in Sports – I handle the IM, my co-teacher has a degree in sports management.
Here’s a screen cap of our course in the Canvas Learning Management System.
